Their love was strong, forged by a lifetime of friendship and longing.
The action packed sequel to Wait for Me picks up where the first book left off.
Finally crossing the line from friendship to lovers, Briley and Cooper can begin their happily ever after together.
The contents of an envelope, however, lead the new lovers down a dangerous road, threatening to destroy everything.
Will Briley and Cooper’s love be strong enough to withstand new revelations? Find out as the epic conclusion unfolds.
With a dual point of view and twists you won’t see coming, Stay with Me answers the questions left lingering since these two characters were introduced.
It was Cooper’s turn at the mic, and he had my full attention. He strummed his guitar a few times, stepped up to the mic, and looked at me when he spoke, his voice throaty and low. “This one’s for my girl.”
A hush fell over the crowd as they watched him. His fingers manipulated the guitar pick over the strings, eliciting a euphonious sound. He began to sing the words to our song, “Everlong” by Foo Fighters, and the crowd cheered and sang along. My heart melted watching him sing to me, only taking his eyes off of me occasionally to look down at the strings.
He came to my favorite verse in the song—asking me to promise not to stop—and I held my breath so I could focus on his lips, his voice, the words.
Everyone sang along, and Cooper flashed an appreciative smile that made me weak in the knees. I was sure every girl in the room fell in love with him at that moment. The way his jeans sat loosely on his hips, his muscles flexing as he handled the guitar, and the glisten of sweat highlighting his scattering of tats. One more shot of tequila to loosen my inhibitions, and I would’ve thrown my panties at him.
